An intense protest over the pension cuts?  No way jose, this is just the beginning of a soccer game between Thessaloniki’s two big rivals, PAOK and Ares (like the god of war.)  An awesome game, and no violence that I can see.  Although some students/staff were tear-gassed by cops earlier in the evening outside the stadium.
